As a member of Vermont NATS, you will have access to a diverse network of fellow voice teachers, industry professionals and performers. Our vibrant community meets at the National Conference, Regional Conference, local events and online  to exchange ideas, share experiences and build meaningful connections that can enrich your teaching and/or performing journey.

Inspiring workshops and Seminars

The Vermont Chapter is committed to organizing engaging workshops and seminars led by seasoned professionals and experts in the field, including you! These events will create opportunities for you to share your research and develop relationships with teachers and students who benefit from the work you do at the chapter, regional and national level.  Hosting workshops or auditions can bring talented students from around the state to your organization, college or university. 

Collaborative Performance Opportunities

NATS now includes audition programs in Commercial Music (Pop, Rock, Hip Hop, Blues, Rap, Country, Jazz…) as well as the traditional Musical Theater and Classical genres for all student levels.  NATS offers a world class student audition program that can showcase talent and grow your students experiential learning, scholarship, fellowship and prize money for placing. Participation in these auditions also builds student confidence and enhances their resumes.

As a NATS member, you have access to award winning print and online resources including, Vocapedia, Newsletters , NATS CHAT webinars, Journal of Singing, The NATS Mentoring Program for Composers and The Live Learning Center that offers archived content from recent conferences, the job center, a teacher database where you can advertise your studio as well as hotel, insurance and retail discounts.
